The performance ha a peculiar dramatic content and unrolls in only one essential scene, based on the balance between music and images: a great screen on which are projected the images in black and white is the only presence on the scene accompanying Nacci during the performance, consisting of six tales of images and sounds: 1. Devil’s Smile a surrealistic story placed on the backstage of a theater, full of mystery and darkness where the characters are mixed with the interpreters, hiding themselves behind the devil’s smile;
2. A man, a story: the family album of a man old by the time recovers the vitality of a tale where the passage from one image to the other is projected into the future through the visitation of past. A piece full of tenderness and energy as strong as the image of the protagonist in the last scene;
3. New Train: a short story in the discrepancies of our time. A metropolis, crowded, plenty of skyscrapers and palaces, hiding a merciless reality made of solitude and poverty almost even the alto sax of Nacci seems not to be at ease before this images and refuses to plays, but it is enough to take a train and discover that not far away there is a large beach, where women and men can still dream watching the far horizon. 4. Lisa: An alto sax sings sweet lines of melodies as fine and sinuous as the naked woman body. Then the rhythm grows more and more chasing and the music grows in a stratification of sounds, lively and dynamic, to end excitedly almost spasmodically.
5. Gypsies: a careful look to the life of a nomad community: a religious ceremony, the funeral of Mafalda, are the events compressed in one day and giving the to resume the different aspects of the life of a community of Gypsie The performance lasts one hour. The première took place January 1999 in the Aula Magna of Bocconi University in Milan. After it the piece was entirely reviewed by Nacci on the computer. The result is a new work that does not alter the beauty of the images of Guerini and suggests new relations between the images and the sounds.
