The cooperation between Alberto Nacci saxophonist and composer and Eugenio De Mello, dancer and choreographer has produced The Moving Sound

Music and dance look each other in the same mirror: a process of identification where the two protagonists get mixed up, each one by the use of his own language: sound and movement like the two faces of the same sphere.

The Moving Sound is a sequence of scenes without a conventional tale structure. The dramatic aspect has a peculiar dynamic that gives a distinctive feature to the rhythm. Some sounds, gestures or theater themes are used to create the most varied motivations – often merely conceptual – so to brig the audience in a fantastic journey together with the protagonists: A moving body finds in the sound  its own identity, this last  generates new sound and movements let in the air. Sounds and images meet, amplified by the movement: sax, computer sound sequences, and noises form the ground where the scene is situated: an anonymous place that is given life by lights and shadows chasing each other in the space.    

The performance lasts one hour.
